Updates and Q2 plan
The Core Team's strategies have always been decentralization, ecosystem building and network growth.

In the first quarter, we launched the Pi Wallet, a major milestone towards decentralization, allowing all pioneers to interact with Pi Testnet and prepare the network for Mainnet. We also launched Pi Browser, the new interface of the Pi Utilities platform, which will allow you to easily create, test and access Pi Apps. At the same time, the network has grown to more than 17 million engaged Pioneers.

In the second quarter, while the work on Testnet and growth continues, the core team has focused on building and improving the Pi Utilities platform, the infrastructure needed to build the Pi ecosystem. We always believe that real value creation will occur in utilities and applications, which is why the development of the utilities platform has always been an important strategy at Pi Network. In the context of market volatility and noise in the crypto space, real profits and a robust ecosystem are the best defense.

Specifically, we are working on the following things for the Pi Utilities platform, and they will be released later in the second quarter.

Integration with Testnet
This will allow third-party Pi applications to call Pi Wallets and send transactions to Pi Testnet. When the Mainnet is up, this process will connect to the Mainnet, allowing pioneers to spend Pi on Pi applications.
Integration with Pi Browser
As mentioned in the browser launch, the Pi browser is the most open interface of the new utility platform.
New developer portal
Third-party developers of Pi applications will be able to request and request authorization to use certain resources there.
Standardized environment for creating and deploying ecosystem applications
This will allow ecosystem application developers to build their application in a way that will not require much more complication in deployment on Pi servers and scale to millions of Pioneers. As a reminder, Ecosystem apps are Type 2 Pi apps that typically don't have a business model, but provide missing functionality for the ecosystem, unlike Type 1 enterprise apps.
